Job Summary

Employment and Compensation

• The stated employment type is full-time.
• The listed salary is AED 9,000 to AED 12,000 per month.

Technical Review and Engineering

• Review IFC structural drawings, specifications, design documents, BOQ and contract requirements.
• Review shop drawings, identify discrepancies and constructability issues, and prepare RFIs or technical queries.
• Review subcontractor calculations and technical submissions and evaluate proposed solutions for compliance and constructability.
• Provide technical support and ensure structural works comply with approved documents, codes and project requirements.

Structural Construction Knowledge

• Apply knowledge of reinforced concrete, foundations, rafts, piles, pile caps, columns, beams, slabs, walls and cores.
• Apply knowledge of post-tensioned structures, joints, reinforcement, embedded items, concrete sequences, formwork and structural supports.
• Apply knowledge of structural steel, masonry, waterproofing interfaces, openings, penetrations and builders' work requirements.

Shop Drawings and Coordination

• Review and coordinate fabrication, rebar, erection and as-built drawings and verify reinforcement layouts, dimensions, laps, anchorage and embeds.
• Coordinate shop drawings with architectural and MEP requirements and identify clashes between structural elements and services.
• Coordinate structural requirements with architecture, MEP, civil, infrastructure, façade, waterproofing, landscape, BIM teams and specialist subcontractors.
• Coordinate penetrations, sleeves, equipment bases, embedded plates, anchor bolts, façade connections, lift shafts, stairs, roofs and plant rooms.

Site Technical Support

• Provide daily technical support to Site Engineers and construction teams and attend site inspections.
• Investigate site technical problems, propose practical compliant solutions and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support concrete works, reinforcement inspections, structural steel erection and other critical activities.
• Review site conditions against design assumptions and approved drawings and escalate critical structural risks.

QA/QC and Structural Compliance

• Support implementation of structural ITPs and method statements and review inspection requests and related technical documentation.
• Support resolution of structural NCRs, observations and non-conformities and review corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure materials are approved before incorporation and verify concrete, reinforcement, structural steel and other material compliance.
• Support concrete quality control, testing coordination and required documentation.
