Technical Responsibilities
- Prepare and review shop drawings, builder work drawings, coordination drawings, schematic diagrams, isometric drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with BIM and drafting teams to ensure clash-free drawings.
- Prepare HVAC cooling load, pump head, duct sizing, piping sizing, water supply, drainage, and firefighting hydraulic calculations.
- Select and verify AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, chillers, pumps, fans, heat exchangers, water heaters, expansion vessels, and pressurization units.
- Prepare material submittals and technical data sheets.
- Prepare RFIs and respond to consultant technical comments.
- Coordinate with procurement regarding approved materials.
- Support QA/QC with inspections and technical compliance.
- Attend coordination meetings with consultants and contractors.
- Assist planning and construction teams with engineering support.
- Review subcontractor engineering deliverables.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP contracting.
- Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE standards and consultant requirements.
- Experience preparing engineering calculations and shop drawings.
- Experience with authority submissions.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
Standards and Software
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, UPC, SMACNA, UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, and local authority requirements.
- Required software includes AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, HAP, Elite Software, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and BIM 360.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 8,000 to AED 16,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
