Technical Project Manager — Unified Data Platform Program

Role purpose

Location and engagement

• The position is based on-site in Dubai, UAE.
• The engagement is a dedicated contract lasting 6 or more months and is extendable.

Key responsibilities

• Create work breakdown structures, sprint and release plans, resource schedules, and dependency plans across workstreams.
• Coordinate data architects and engineers on lakehouse design, ETL/ELT pipeline development, and integration with upstream and downstream systems.
• Track data classification, security, and interoperability compliance requirements and capture evidence for checkpoints.
• Maintain the working-level RAID log and escalate program-impacting risks.
• Coordinate with client technical teams, governance stakeholders, security and compliance counterparts, and vendors.
• Produce sprint reports, status reports, and steering-committee-ready delivery dashboards.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, defect triage, and resolution tracking.
• Align technical release timing with change management and training workstreams.

Required experience and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of total experience, including 5 or more years managing technical projects or delivery for data platform, cloud, or analytics programs.
• Hands-on knowledge of data lakehouse architectures, cloud platforms, and data integration or ETL tooling.
• Practical experience running Agile delivery using Scrum or SAFe.
• Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder communication skills.
• English fluency is mandatory.

Preferred qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE government digital compliance frameworks, DDA/Dubai Pulse, or data classification tiers is highly desirable.
• Arabic language ability and UAE market availability are preferred.
