Role Overview

The Technical Project Manager owns day-to-day technical delivery planning and execution for the Unified Data Platform build.

The role translates program objectives into delivery plans, coordinates engineering and architecture teams, manages technical risks, and embeds compliance checkpoints.

Location and Contract

  • The position is based on-site in Dubai, UAE.
  • The engagement is a 6+ month extendable contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create work breakdown structures, sprint and release plans, resource schedules, and dependency plans across workstreams.
  • Coordinate lakehouse architecture, ETL/ELT pipeline development, and upstream and downstream integrations.
  • Track data classification, security, and interoperability requirements and capture compliance evidence.
  • Maintain the RAID log, escalate program-impacting risks, coordinate stakeholders, and produce delivery dashboards.
  • Coordinate testing, UAT, defect triage, resolution tracking, and technical release timing with change and training teams.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field is required.
  • The role requires 8–12 years of total experience, including 5+ years managing technical delivery for data platform, cloud, or analytics programs.
  • Hands-on knowledge of lakehouse architectures, cloud platforms, and data integration or ETL tooling is required.
  • Practical Agile delivery experience using Scrum or SAFe is required.
  • UAE digital compliance familiarity is highly desirable, while PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster certification is preferred.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder communication skills are required; fluent English is mandatory and Arabic is a plus.

Success Metrics

  • Success is measured by sprint and milestone adherence, defect and quality performance, timely risk escalation, compliance checkpoint completion, and client stakeholder satisfaction.
