Role Summary

Location and Availability

• The role is based in Dubai.

Experience Requirements

• Eight to twelve years of experience in information security.
• At least two years of hands-on experience with Fortra, Titus, or Boldon James data classification products.
• Relevant experience with Microsoft Purview or other data classification solutions may also be considered.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Define classification strategies, integrate data protection controls, and ensure sensitive information is classified, labeled, and protected.
• Assess data security aspects including data classification, access control models, and data protection.
• Apply enterprise security architecture, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, solution design, strategic planning, consulting, data security assessment, GRC, and relationship management.
• Understand IAM and GRC standards including ISO 27001, SOC, GDPR, and NIST/DoD frameworks.
• Communicate security requirements and design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Architecture and Governance

• Design enterprise-wide data classification and information protection architecture using Fortra/Titus solutions.
• Define classification taxonomies, metadata schemas, labeling standards, and governance models.
• Architect integrations of Fortra/Titus with IAM, Microsoft 365, DLP, and SIEM.
• Develop data protection roadmaps aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Create solution design documents, architecture diagrams, and implementation standards.

Implementation and Assurance

• Configure classification labels, user prompts, policies, and automated labeling mechanisms.
• Define governance processes for label lifecycle management.
• Conduct periodic reviews of classification effectiveness and compliance adherence.
• Implement data-centric security controls aligned with DLP, rights management, encryption, and information protection.
• Identify information-handling gaps and recommend remediation plans.
• Provide guidance and training on classification policies and procedures.

Preferred Experience and Certifications

• Experience in highly regulated defence environments is advantageous.
• Experience with ITAR and NATO defence compliance regulation is advantageous.
• CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 Implementation, and Fortra certifications are advantageous.
