Position Overview

The position is for a Policy and Compliance Expert / GRC Architect with 12+ years of information security experience.

The role requires good understanding of data protection and involves customer-facing GRC consultancy and implementation services.

Experience and Domain Knowledge

  • 12+ years of experience in information security.
  • Good understanding of the data protection domain.
  • Experience in security risk management, compliance, data privacy, audits, reviews, gap assessments, and implementation.
  • Experience delivering GRC consultancy services in customer-facing environments.

GRC Consulting and Implementation

  • Work with customer teams to develop security strategies, governance frameworks, policies, assessments, and solutions.
  • Lead implementation of GRC deliverables at customer locations.
  • Develop and implement enterprise security strategies, governance frameworks, standards, and policies.

Standards and Assessments

  • Be conversant in ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, GDPR, SOX, and PCI DSS.
  • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments.
  • Evaluate access management and recommend RBAC, ABAC, or a blended approach.

Preferred Regional Experience

  • Experience in the UAE or Middle East with exposure to UAE PDPL and NESA regulations is preferred.
  • Experience in highly regulated defense environments is preferred.
