A high-growth, regulated fintech platform is hiring a senior delivery leader to take ownership of complex, multi-team technical programmes that sit right at the core of the business.
This is not a “project admin” role.
It’s a senior, high-trust position for someone who can bring structure to ambiguity, align strong engineering personalities, and turn platform strategy into predictable, high-quality delivery at scale.
You’ll operate as the connective layer between Engineering, Product, Architecture, QA/DevOps and executive stakeholders owning cross-squad dependencies, release governance, delivery confidence, and the narrative that keeps leadership informed without noise.
You’ll lead end-to-end delivery across 8–12+ engineering squads, driving clarity across interdependencies and ensuring programmes land safely in production.
That means building and maintaining dependency maps, risk registers and escalation paths, running multi-quarter planning, and stepping in early when blockers appear not after delivery slips.
You’ll also own release governance for large-scale programmes.
You’ll define the checkpoints, enforce production readiness standards, run go/no-go decisions with clear criteria, and coordinate parallel workstreams across QA, Platform and DevOps so releases are controlled, auditable, and repeatable.
This role requires a leader who can sit comfortably in technical detail when needed (API contracts, integration milestones, platform dependencies) and then translate that complexity into simple, business-relevant updates for senior stakeholders.
You’ll produce data-driven status reporting, delivery forecasts, risk dashboards and trade-off options with the confidence to escalate early and recommend the right path under constraint.
Tooling and delivery intelligence are a major part of the remit.
You’ll own programme-level Jira structures (epic hierarchies, cross-project boards, dependency linking and automation) and build executive dashboards that surface programme health using meaningful metrics like cycle time, lead time, flow efficiency, and dependency resolution SLAs.
In a regulated environment, your delivery approach and tooling discipline will also support audit readiness and compliance expectations.
We’re looking for someone with 10+ years’ experience in Technical Delivery, Programme Management, or Engineering Leadership, with a proven track record delivering complex, multi-team programmes in high-stakes and/or regulated environments.
You should be comfortable operating across large engineering organisations (8+ teams), confident in driving dependency resolution, and credible with engineers, architects and platform teams when technical trade-offs need to be challenged or clarified.
You’ll likely have strong experience with Agile-at-scale and hybrid delivery models, advanced Jira administration and workflow design, and a history of improving delivery predictability through governance, metrics and execution discipline.
Fintech, trading platforms, or similarly regulated product environments are strongly preferred.
You’ll be stepping into a high-impact seat with real scale: multiple squads, platform-level dependencies, and programmes that run for months rather than weeks.
You’ll have the mandate to improve delivery governance, standardise release practices, and build the reporting and operating rhythm that leadership trusts.
