Role Description
- Full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi for a Technical Office Engineer focused on villa projects.
- Involves preparing, reviewing, and coordinating shop drawings to ensure alignment with project specifications, design intent, and relevant codes.
- Support quantity take offs and BOQ preparation, assist with tender documentation, and help verify subcontractor and supplier quantities.
- Daily tasks include coordinating with site teams and design consultants, resolving technical issues, and updating drawings and documents to reflect approved changes.
- Collaborate with civil and electrical engineering teams to integrate multidisciplinary inputs, maintain organized project records, and support timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Shop Drawings, including preparation, review, and coordination with design and site teams.
- Practical experience with BOQ development, quantity take offs, and cost related documentation.
- Solid foundation in Civil Engineering, with knowledge of structural and architectural aspects of villa construction.
- Working knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to building services and villa projects.
- Skills in Quantity Surveying, including measurement, valuation, and verification of quantities for contracts and variations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline; professional certifications or memberships are an advantage.
- Experience in villa or building projects in the UAE or GCC region, including familiarity with local standards, regulations, and authority requirements.
- Proficiency in engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar), and strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, attention to detail, and a structured approach to documentation and reporting.
- Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and support project deadlines.
