Responsibilities
- Manage bridge construction projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and inspection authorities
- Monitor on site progress and resolve issues related to materials, logistics, and construction activities
- Lead project meetings, review drawings and method statements
- Track work progress, prepare status reports, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure risk management, quality control, and adherence to WBG policies and ISO certified procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience managing bridge or major structural works, preferably in GCC
- Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and risk management
- Expeditor and expediting skills for materials and documentation follow up
- Inspection skills with experience in quality control and compliance
- Logistics management skills for material flow and supply chain
- Knowledge of relevant codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Effective leadership, communication, and problem solving abilities
- Proficiency in project management and engineering software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD) preferred
- Advanced degree or PMP certification is an advantage

Role Description
- The Project Manager – Bridge Work Only is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for managing bridge construction projects from inception to completion.
- Oversees project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, coordination with teams and authorities, progress monitoring, and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Strong Project Management skills including planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and risk management for bridge construction projects.
- Expeditor and Expediting skills to follow up on materials, equipment, and documentation.
- Inspection skills with experience in quality control and compliance with engineering standards.
- Logistics Management skills to oversee material flow, transport coordination, and site supply chain.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degree or PMP is an advantage.
- Proven experience managing bridge or major structural works, preferably in GCC.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, safety regulations, and quality standards; familiarity with ISO 9000, 14000, 45000 beneficial.
- Effective leadership, communication, and problem solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management and engineering software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD) preferred.
