- Develop and implement security policies and procedures for construction sites, transportation yards, and related facilities
- Conduct risk assessments and coordinate access control, surveillance, and incident response measures
- Monitor daily security operations, supervise security staff, and collaborate with construction and operations teams to ensure compliance with safety and security standards
- Manage relationships with external security providers and local authorities
- Prepare security reports and support emergency planning and drills
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security practices to protect people, assets, and ongoing projects
Requirements
- Skills in Operations Management and Construction Management to oversee security across complex construction and logistics environments
- Skills in Project Management to plan, implement, and monitor security initiatives aligned with project timelines and site requirements
- Skills in Budgeting to manage security related costs, allocate resources effectively, and support cost efficient security solutions
- Skills in Contract Negotiation to manage agreements with security service providers and vendors while ensuring service quality and compliance
- Relevant experience in security management within construction, infrastructure, or industrial operations, including risk assessment and incident investigation
- Knowledge of safety regulations, ISO standards, and best practices in physical security, access control, and emergency response
- Strong leadership, team supervision, and stakeholder communication abilities, with capacity to coordinate across multiple sites
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Role Description
- The Security Manager – Construction Operations is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing security across construction sites, transportation yards, and related facilities.
- The role involves developing and implementing security policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating access control, surveillance, and incident response measures.
- The Security Manager monitors daily security operations, supervises security staff, and collaborates with construction and operations teams to ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
- The position includes managing relationships with external security providers and local authorities, preparing security reports, and supporting emergency planning and drills.
- The Security Manager also contributes to continuous improvement of security practices to protect people, assets, and ongoing projects.
