- Manage relationships with local government entities, regulatory authorities, and public sector stakeholders relevant to WBG’s construction operations
- Coordinate permits and approvals
- Ensure compliance with local regulations
- Support project teams in government related processes
- Represent the company in meetings and official communications
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise leadership on implications for ongoing and planned projects
- Maintain accurate records of all government interactions
- Contribute to public relations activities that support WBG’s reputation, including handling inquiries from external stakeholders and preparing professional correspondence and reports
Requirements
- Strong Government Relations skills, with experience engaging Local Government and Public Sector authorities in the UAE
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret regulations, assess project impacts, and develop practical compliance solutions
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, Business, or a related field are preferred
- Knowledge of UAE construction regulations, permitting processes, and industry standards
- Prior experience in construction or infrastructure sectors is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, work collaboratively, and manage multiple priorities under deadlines

Role Description
- The Manager – Public and Government Relations for Dubai Construction Activities is a full time, on site role based in Dubai.
- This position is responsible for managing relationships with local government entities, regulatory authorities, and public sector stakeholders relevant to WBG’s construction operations.
- Day to day tasks include coordinating permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with local regulations, supporting project teams in government related processes, and representing the company in meetings and official communications.
- The role involves monitoring regulatory developments, advising leadership on implications for ongoing and planned projects, and maintaining accurate records of all government interactions.
- The manager will also contribute to public relations activities that support WBG’s reputation, including handling inquiries from external stakeholders and preparing professional correspondence and reports.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Government Relations skills, with experience engaging Local Government and Public Sector authorities in the UAE.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret regulations, assess project impacts, and develop practical compliance solutions.
