Lead assigned platform Maintenance Operations activities, including planning, scheduling, and preventive maintenance.
Provide cost-effective maintenance and repair services that maintain customer aircraft and equipment serviceability and availability.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily Maintenance Operations activities and ensure work processes comply with policies, procedures, safety, quality, and environmental controls.
- Manage maintenance planning and scheduling at the assigned base, including short- and long-term workload planning.
- Coordinate with headquarters and MRO facilities to align maintenance capability, schedules, and workload.
- Resolve operational maintenance problems and maintain aircraft readiness and availability.
- Monitor preventive maintenance, materials, spares, consumables, and operational asset condition.
- Set objectives, manage performance, develop staff, and provide feedback to direct reports.
- Support Supply Chain negotiations and maintain relationships with third-party operational and maintenance personnel providers.
- Prepare accurate reports and participate in change initiatives, programs, and projects.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace maintenance or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an aerospace maintenance and aircraft operating environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Military aerospace maintenance experience is preferred.
