Responsibilities
- Manage daily dark store operations, including receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.
- Ensure same-day order fulfillment targets, productivity, and service-level agreements are achieved.
- Monitor order accuracy, picker performance, and dispatch efficiency to reduce delays and errors.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, replenishment, and shrinkage control.
- Lead, coach, and schedule warehouse associates, pickers, packers, and store staff.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, operational standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor KPIs including fulfillment rate, productivity, inventory accuracy, shrinkage, and customer complaints.
- Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, transportation, and operations teams to ensure product availability.
- Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and service levels.
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support manpower planning, attendance management, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in dark store, warehouse, retail, FMCG, or e-commerce operations.
- Experience in same-day grocery e-commerce order fulfillment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to monitor and improve operational performance.
