Role Overview
Aecon Civil is hiring a Subcontracts Manager for heavy civil work on projects including the Arctic Over the Horizon Radar and Hamilton LRT projects.
The role reports to the Senior Procurement and Subcontract Manager and oversees procurement disciplines for an assigned project.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee site-level subcontract administration and ensure compliance with Aecon plans and policies.
- Support subcontract administration and procurement personnel and maintain standard agreement documents.
- Review and approve variations to procurement and subcontracting processes.
- Provide guidance, training, and legal review for negotiated agreements and procurement.
- Conduct audits of subcontract and procurement policy compliance.
- Manage liens, legal claims, and disputes and hold responsibility for commercial dealings with subcontractors and suppliers.
