Structural Engineer

Job Summary

Principal Responsibilities

• Identify work scope and technical requirements.
• Participate in technical clarification and prepare discipline proposals.
• Design, review, and approve structural documents and close owner comments.
• Coordinate and resolve issues related to structural technical documents.
• Support material bidding, bid evaluation clarification, vendor drawing review, FAT inspection, and procurement.
• Prepare or review special reports and review calculation results.
• Provide site coordination and technical support during project construction.
• Train and guide designers for at least 10 sessions or 40 hours each year.
• Complete other work assigned by the Project Manager and Structural Department.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above is required.
• More than 10 years of offshore structural design experience is required.
• Relevant experience may include offshore platforms, FPSO, and semi-submersible platforms.
• A major in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering or structural engineering is required.
• Familiarity with API RP-2A, AISC, ISO 19902, and Shell DEP is required.

Behavioral and Technical Skills

• Fluent spoken and written English is required.
• Familiarity with offshore oil platform structural engineering work is required.
• Use SACS, ANSYS, and AutoCAD for structural engineering work.
