Architectural Engineer

Job Summary

Principal Responsibilities

• Perform outfitting and architectural design, equipment selection, technical management, document design, proofreading, and review.
• Support procurement through bidding documents, bid evaluation, clarifications, drawing review, and Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Coordinate with foreign owners to resolve project issues.
• Coordinate with owners, classification societies, third parties, and regulatory or review bodies to resolve problems and comments.
• Provide technical training and guidance to designers at least 10 times or 40 hours per year.
• Complete other related tasks assigned by the client.

Education and Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Knowledge of marine engineering outfitting and architecture.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, SHELL DEP, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other applicable specifications, regulations, and policies.
• Experience on projects in the Middle East and Brazil is preferred.

Behavioral and Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Work requires diligence, rigor, responsibility, hard work, and flexibility for overtime.
• Candidates should have good learning ability and initiative to learn new skills and knowledge.

Travel and Site Requirements

• Candidates need rich experience in on-site cooperation.
• The role may require domestic or overseas business trips and work at offshore oil and gas facilities.

Language Requirements

• English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills must meet job requirements.
• Domestic personnel are specified to have a CET-6 score of 550 or above or TOEIC score of 700 or above.
• Native English ability is preferred for foreign personnel.
