Principal HVAC Engineer

Job Summary

Principal Responsibilities

• Coordinate with international clients to address project-related issues and client inquiries.
• Perform other related tasks assigned by the client.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above is required.
• More than 15 years of design experience is required for offshore fixed platforms or floating oil and gas production facilities.
• The candidate must have served as HVAC discipline lead on at least five international projects.

Technical Qualifications

• Proficiency in offshore engineering HVAC knowledge, international standards and specifications, and industry regulations is required.
• Relevant standards include ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISO, API, SHELL DEP, and applicable Saudi Arabian and Qatari requirements.
• Project experience in the Middle East or Brazil is preferred.

Behavioral and Technical Skills

• Skill with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
• Familiarity with HVAC design software such as CARRIER E20II or TRANE is required.
• Diligence, meticulousness, responsibility, hard work, and willingness to work overtime as project requirements dictate are expected.
• Strong learning ability and initiative to acquire new skills and knowledge are expected.
• Proficient English listening, speaking, reading, and writing ability is required.
• Domestic candidates should have CET-6 550 or TOEIC 700 or above; native English speakers are preferred for international candidates.
