Principal Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Principal Responsibilities

• Communicate with foreign clients on process design schemes and resolve process-discipline problems.
• Coordinate with clients to resolve issues and close out comments.
• Review technical tender documents, clarifications, bid evaluations, and related materials.
• Provide technical training and guidance at least 10 times or 40 hours per year.
• Complete other related work assigned by the client.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• More than 15 years of offshore engineering mechanical-design experience involving offshore platforms, FPSOs, or semi-submersible platforms.
• Knowledge of offshore engineering machinery, international standards, and industry regulations and policies.

Language and Certification

• Domestic candidates must have English communication skills sufficient for the work.
• CET-6 score of 550 or above or TOEIC score of 700 or above is preferred for domestic candidates.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese is preferred for foreign candidates.
• ASME VIII certification is preferred.

Behavioral and Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
• Static Equipment Engineers should be proficient in PVELT and TANK software.
• Work requires diligence, rigor, responsibility, hard work, and flexibility for overtime.
• Candidates should have strong learning ability and initiative to learn new skills and knowledge.
