Role Overview

  • As the Strategic Partnership Development Manager, you will drive expansion of business ecosystem, unlock new market opportunities, and accelerate growth through high impact external partnerships.
  • This is a dynamic, high visibility 'hunter' role for a master relationship builder with a proven ability to independently self source deals and a robust network.

Responsibilities

  • Tap into established network of industry executives to open doors and introduce value proposition.
  • Continually scout market to uncover untapped opportunities and map high value potential partners.
  • Lead end to end deal cycle, pitching to C suite executives and navigating complex negotiations.
  • Lead initial onboarding process providing sales training, product expertise, and marketing collateral.
  • Facilitate collaborative workshops with new partners to identify high value opportunities.
  • Partner internally with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams for seamless integration.
  • Establish Qashio as top of mind solution through consistent engagement.
  • Drive partners toward first revenue milestones before transitioning to long term management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships or business development with documented history of sourcing and closing high value deals.
  • Experience collaborating with internal product, legal, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable pitching to C suite and VP level executives.
  • Relationship management skills and can do attitude.
  • Ability to look beyond immediate sales targets to see long term ecosystem value.
  • Ability to combine quantitative data with qualitative strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience and interest in FinTech space; preferably worked directly with a FinTech company.
  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in business or related fields (plus).
  • In depth understanding of FinTech software/platforms and accounting/expense management systems (plus).
