Position Summary

  • The Director, Strategic Initiatives is responsible for leading the identification, development, and execution of high impact critical initiatives that drive business growth, operational excellence, and transformation across the region and/or global function.
  • This role works closely with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans.
  • It ensures alignment across commercial, operational, and functional groups.
  • It delivers measurable outcomes within a sophisticated, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate enterprise and regional strategy into executable initiatives and implementation roadmaps.
  • Define clear milestones, KPIs, and success measures aligned to business priorities.
  • Drive alignment between global strategy and regional execution.
  • Lead cross functional transformation initiatives across commercial, operational, and digital domains.
  • Act as a change agent to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Ensure sustainability and scalability of implemented initiatives.
  • Manage a portfolio of pivotal initiatives end to end (from concept to execution).
  • Establish governance frameworks, including tracking progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure delivery of initiatives on time, within scope, and delivering measurable impact.
  • Lead all aspects of the development and use of analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Provide insights on business performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support data driven decision making across leadership teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field).
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Meaningful progressive experience in strategy, consulting, commercial operations, or transformation.
  • Proven experience leading sophisticated, cross functional critical initiatives.
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and execution capability.
  • Sophisticated analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong financial savvy and understanding of business drivers.
  • Excellent collaborator management and influencing skills.
  • Proven program and project management expertise.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.
