Responsibilities
- Assist customers in locating products and answering basic inquiries
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming stock deliveries
- Replenish shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly
- Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisors about low stock
- Check product expiry dates and remove expired or damaged items
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of shelves, aisles, storage areas, and the store
- Arrange products according to company standards and merchandising guidelines
- Pack customer purchases when required
- Assist in loading and unloading customer purchases or delivery vehicles
- Support cashiers during busy hours by packing bags or managing queues
- Ensure price tags and promotional labels are accurate and up to date
- Keep storage rooms organized for easy stock retrieval
Requirements
- Basic communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit to lift, carry, and move merchandise
- Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment
- Basic knowledge of inventory handling and stock management
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Previous retail or grocery store experience is preferred but not mandatory
