- Manage the daily operations of the grocery store
- Supervise, train, and motivate store employees
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints professionally
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment of products
- Maintain product availability and proper shelf merchandising
- Ensure accurate pricing and product labeling
- Conduct regular inventory checks and minimize stock loss, damage, and shrinkage
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired or damaged products
- Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries and stock management
- Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance
- Handle cash management, daily sales reconciliation, and banking procedures
- Monitor store cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience managing a grocery store, supermarket, or retail outlet
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of inventory management and POS systems
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, inventory software)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
