Job Overview
Staff Engineer - Piping Stress role based in Vikhroli, West Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Functions as a technical specialist or lead with minimal supervision on complex engineering problems.
May provide technical guidance or supervise engineering staff on projects of low to medium complexity.
Key Responsibilities
- Create CAESAR II models and evaluate flexibility and stress in piping systems.
- Assess support settlement, relief valve, seismic, slug, thermal cycle, and wind effects.
- Select springs and evaluate stresses, displacements, forces, and moments for support design.
- Analyze jacketed, FRP, expansion-joint, and modular piping systems.
- Assess structural deflections during fabrication, lifting, transit, and site installation.
- Evaluate nozzle loads, nozzle flexibilities, WRC stresses, and flange leakage.
- Perform modal, harmonic, and response spectrum dynamic analyses.
- Prepare datasheets, update pipe support standards, and produce stress analysis reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Applicants must complete applicable pre-employment onboarding requirements if selected.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 10 years of oil and gas, FLNG, or power generation experience.
- At least 3 years of offshore oil and gas field or FLNG project experience.
- Experience with CAESAR II, Autopipe, Navisworks, or NozzlePro.
- Experience with detailed design and EPC project execution.
