Job Summary
Functions as a technical specialist or lead role applying advanced engineering techniques with minimal supervision.
Develops concepts and approaches for complex engineering problems and may guide or supervise engineering staff.
May develop, validate, and present specialist or technical outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the design and drafting group and ensure quality and timely completion within established man-hour budgets.
- Assist with project execution strategy and ensure its application throughout the project.
- Allocate team activities, support assigned personnel, and maintain information availability.
- Resolve discrepancies in drawings and specifications and provide technical assistance to the project team.
- Conduct technical training and ensure uniformity in design and drafting activities.
- Review comments and ensure they are consistently incorporated into drawings and specifications.
- Prepare general notes, piping details, plot plans, and scope layout studies.
- Review 3D models internally and with clients and ensure satisfactory design compliance.
- Coordinate MTO activities and monitor their progress.
