Role Overview

  • Lenovo is seeking a high impact Senior Solutions & Services Executive (Saudi National) to lead growth in the sports industry across Saudi Arabia.
  • This role is responsible for driving new business (hunter profile) and expanding Lenovo’s footprint across Sports Ministries, Federations, Clubs, Leagues, Esports organizations, and Sports & Entertainment entities.
  • The successful candidate will position Lenovo as a strategic technology partner, leveraging Hybrid Cloud, AI, Edge, and TruScale offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close net new opportunities within sports ministries & government authorities, national & regional sports federations, professional clubs & leagues, esports organizations & gaming ecosystems, sports & entertainment venues and operators.
  • Build a strong pipeline of multi million dollar opportunities focused on solutions and services (Opex/consumption based models).
  • Drive strategic account penetration and whitespace expansion across the sports ecosystem.
  • Own OneLenovo engagement strategy for the sports vertical in KSA.
  • Activate and align channel partners, ISVs, and ecosystem players to accelerate deal velocity.
  • Represent Lenovo at key industry platforms (e.g., LEAP, sports summits, and sports events).
  • Lead value based, consultative sales engagements with C level stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CFO, Digital Heads).
  • Position Lenovo’s portfolio including Hybrid Cloud & Software Defined Infrastructure, AI / GPU workloads, Smart venues, IoT, and edge computing, TruScale consumption based services.
  • Translate customer business needs into outcome driven solutions (fan experience, operational efficiency, revenue growth, sustainability).
  • Own the full sales cycle: Opportunity identification, qualification, solutioning, proposal, negotiation, closure.
  • Develop financial models and business cases (TCO, ROI, IRR, Opex vs Capex, IFRS considerations).
  • Coordinate with legal, delivery, and services teams to structure contracts, SLAs, and commercials.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years in enterprise sales, business development, or solution selling within IT/services with a proven track record in closing large, complex, multi million dollar deals.
  • Background in sports, media, entertainment, or public sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Hybrid Cloud & Software Defined Infrastructure, AI/ML workloads and GPU based solutions, Edge computing, IoT, and smart venue technologies.
