Sr Principal Professional Services Project Manager

The Role

Your Impact

• Strategically monitor and manage projects.
• Deliver software implementation projects on budget and schedule with high customer satisfaction.
• Execute project management phases from initiation through delivery to closeout.
• Provide functional supervision to contractors, consultants, and engineers assigned to projects.
• Meet reporting, project administration, and documentation requirements.
• Communicate with clients and develop long-term customer relationships.
• Collaborate with R&D, Support, Product Management, Sales, and other teams.
• Recover projects through changes, clear leadership, and project management best practices.

What You’ll Need

• At least three years of project management leadership experience with IT initiatives and at least ten years of project management experience.
• Process-industry experience is required, preferably in oil and gas, petrochemicals, or a related sector.
• Experience managing multiple projects across business functions and locations.
• Experience with international customers, mainly in the Middle East; Eastern Europe and India experience is also relevant.
• Strong analysis and communication skills, including translating business requirements into project deliverables.
• Experience creating project plans, presentations, and financial reports.
• Ability to adapt communication for different stakeholder levels and lead through influence.
• Technical understanding of technology projects and new systems implementations.
• Proficiency in scope, time, cost, quality, risk, and procurement management.
• Customer focus, problem-solving ability, and team-building and management skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel at least 25% of the time, including internationally.
• Project management certification and experience with waterfall and agile methods are desirable.
