AspenTech is seeking an experienced and dynamic Agile Team Lead for its Enterprise Operations Platform organization.

The role acts as servant leader and coach for an Agile development team delivering next-generation industrial software solutions.

The team works on industrial edge connectivity and distributed computing, moving and securely managing large volumes of production-floor data to the cloud.

The platform supports multiple operating systems and serverless cloud architectures.

Your Impact

  • Lead and coach the Agile team while supporting SAFe principles and practices.
  • Facilitate PI Planning, iteration planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Help Product Owners and system architects refine requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Remove obstacles and foster transparency, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  • Coordinate with Release Train Engineers and other Agile team leads across Agile Release Trains.
  • Support delivery of cloud-native solutions and coach team members on Agile practices.
  • Promote collaboration across development, product, and operations teams.
  • Contribute to team deliverables as an individual contributor and lead by example.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
  • More than 10 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in Agile leadership.
  • French at A1 level and English at C1 level are stated as required for international customer interactions.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing SAFe or another large-scale Agile framework.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and container orchestration with Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Practical knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C/C++.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry or other observability tools, automated testing, OAuth 2.0, and RBAC.
  • Excellent facilitation, conflict-resolution, servant-leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • SAFe Scrum Master certification and experience with large-scale Agile leadership, transformations, continuous improvement, DevOps, or cloud security are desirable.

Additional expectations

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with a high degree of change.

Passion for coaching teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.

Strong technical background sufficient to provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Stay current with Agile frameworks, cloud-native technologies, and software-engineering practices.
