Purpose and Organizational Relevance
Lead the creative and design direction for adidas retail environments across Emerging Markets.
Ensure consumer touchpoints deliver a distinctive, inspiring, and consistent brand experience.
Translate global retail concepts into innovative, locally relevant, and commercially effective design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide creative leadership across Emerging Markets, strategic projects, and rollout projects.
- Lead design from briefing and concept development through approval, execution, and store opening.
- Support Cluster Store Development teams and adapt designs to site conditions.
- Lead stakeholder design discussions and secure timely design approvals.
- Protect adidas brand identity, consumer experience, and design standards.
- Coordinate concepts, localisation, graphics, storytelling, materials, and finishes across teams.
- Conduct market and site visits and support contractor briefings, mock-ups, reviews, and approvals.
- Develop cost-effective alternatives and optimize materials, finishes, and design solutions.
- Manage workload, allocation, performance, coaching, and capability development for the design team.
- Direct agencies, architects, contractors, and external partners on design quality.
- Drive design innovation, pilots, bespoke stores, and retail concept evolution.
