SportAtlas is seeking Data Analysts to join its team in Hyderabad.
The role supports data analytics and reporting for a sports streaming business serving fans worldwide.
The position requires hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and Looker, plus understanding of data analytics, data modelling, and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Looker.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Support the development and maintenance of data models and reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and work with engineering teams where required.
- Document queries, reports, dashboards, and analytical processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong understanding of SQL is required.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop is required.
- Working knowledge of Looker or LookML is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Python is preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Strong attention to detail and data quality are required.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills are required.
- Experience with subscription-based businesses, playback data, OTT platforms, or streaming services is preferred.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and Looker.
- Strong understanding of SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop.
- Good understanding of data analytics, data modelling, and business requirements.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data quality.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Working knowledge of Looker or LookML.
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Working knowledge or experience in subscription-based businesses, playback data, OTT platforms, or streaming services.
