Position Overview
The Android Developer will play a proactive role in the design, development, and release of FORM’s Android app.
The role reports to the Mobile Team Lead and covers requirements, UI decisions, implementation, testing, and deployment.
The position emphasizes code ownership, clean architecture, exceptional user experiences, and agile collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and build FORM’s Android app with a modern and rich user interface.
- Work with UX and product teams to transform requirements and mockups into product features.
- Collaborate with developers to establish team best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture and coding-practice discussions.
- Identify mobile technologies, trends, and opportunities that could improve products and business outcomes.
- Write unit and integration tests to validate new software features.
- Maintain product reliability, code quality, and reusability.
- Adopt AI-assisted development practices that improve team productivity and code quality.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as an Android developer.
- Working knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java within the Android ecosystem.
- Experience developing native Android apps.
- Familiarity with Android SDKs such as Jetpack Compose, Jetpack Navigation, and Coroutines.
- Understanding of MVVM architecture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy and IoT is preferred but not required.
- Current knowledge of emerging AI technologies is a nice-to-have.
- Understanding of SaaS is a nice-to-have.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins is a nice-to-have.

- The annual salary range is $80,000 to $100,000, with offers determined by experience, skills, qualifications, and role alignment.
