About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement control measures
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
- Provide expert HSE advice to management, supervisors, and project teams
- Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to safety procedures and safe work practices
- Deliver HSE training, inductions, and awareness programs
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and performance evaluations
- Prepare and present HSE reports, statistics, and KPIs to senior management
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders as required
- Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement and maintain HSE management systems in line with ISO 45001 2018 and ISO 14001 2015 certification
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) required; NEBOSH Diploma preferred
- Minimum 10+ years of HSE experience in construction, with at least 4–5 years in a senior role within the GCC
- ISO 45001 2018, ISO 14001 auditor certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA guidelines, ANSI requirements
- Knowledge of GCC HSE regulations, labor laws, and construction safety standards
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Experience conducting incident investigations using recognized root cause analysis methodologies
- Demonstrated experience leading HSES audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
- Experience managing subcontractor HSES performance and compliance

Qualifications

- Membership with Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (TechIOSH/GradIOSH) is an advantage.
- Minimum 10+ years of HSE experience in construction, with at least 4–5 years in a senior role within the GCC.

- Strong knowledge of OSHA guidelines, ANSI requirements.
- Knowledge of GCC HSE regulations, labor laws, and construction safety standards.
- Experience working on large projects with multicultural workforce and international EPCI contractors.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Experience conducting incident investigations using recognized root cause analysis methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience leading HSES audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Experience managing subcontractor HSES performance and compliance.
