About the Role
CB&I seeks a Senior Completions & Well Testing Engineer for a 12-month contract in Sharjah on a 28/28 rotation. The role involves developing and executing completion and well testing programs, managing contractors, and ensuring HSE compliance.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute completion, well testing, intervention, workover, and well re entry programmes
- Prepare operational procedures, programme amendments, and Management of Change (MOC) documentation
- Manage operational planning, AFE preparation, cost tracking, and performance monitoring
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during field operations
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, industry standards, and operational procedures
- Manage contractors and service providers to deliver safe and efficient operations
- Prepare end of well reports, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and support competency development within the team
- Participate in tender evaluations, contract management, and technical reviews
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years' experience in completions, well testing, well intervention, and workover operations within the oil & gas industry
- Strong experience in both onshore and offshore operations
- Extensive knowledge of completion design, well testing, perforating, DSTs, well interventions, workovers, and well integrity operations
- Experience with coiled tubing, slickline, e line, hydraulic workover units (HWU), snubbing, and related well services
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Valid IWCF Level 4 Well Intervention & Pressure Control Certification
- Valid OPITO H2S Certification
- Strong leadership, communication, project management, and budgeting skills
- Middle East experience is highly desirable
