- Handle and advise on employment law issues
- Handle commercial disputes and litigation
- Develop and implement legal processes to minimize legal risks
Requirements
- 12+ years of legal experience within a law firm or as in house counsel
- Law degree from a local or internationally recognized University
- Arabic and English native speaker level in writing and speaking
- Proven track record in building strong, trust based relationships with internal clients
- Ability to interface with customers and members of large organizations
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle competing demands
- Client service and results orientated

Role Overview
- Lenovo is hiring a Sr. Legal Counsel, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to be part of our Europe and META Region Legal Team.
- The role reports directly to Lenovo’s EMEA General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a wide range of legal matters including contract drafting and negotiation.
- Support direct sales, marketing and advertising activities.
- Handle issues arising from our channel business.
- Ensure compliance with competition laws and local laws (including Sharia law).
- Ensure ethical conduct of all employees.
- Handle and advise on employment law issues.
- Handle commercial disputes and litigation.
- Develop and implement legal processes to help support business teams minimize legal risks.
Ideal Candidate Skills
- 12+ years of legal experience within a law firm or as in house counsel.
- Law degree from a local or internationally recognized University.
- Arabic and English (native speaker level) both in writing and speaking.
- Proven track record in building strong, trust based relationships with internal clients.
- Ability to interface with customers and members of large organizations.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle competing demands.
