Role Overview
The Spa Receptionist provides personalised guest service and supports daily spa reception and operational activities.
Guest Service and Bookings
- Greet all guests and handle questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Schedule tours, spa packages, treatments, personal training, and member and guest bookings.
- Conduct spa tours and consultations and provide advice on facilities, treatments, products, and contraindications.
- Manage cancellations, waiting lists, guest comments, and records of visits, treatments, and purchases.
Sales and Payments
- Promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, programs, promotions, discounts, and retail products.
- Sell and redeem gift vouchers and take responsibility for achieving retail sales.
- Process bill payments and receipts, maintain the Spa Desk Bank, and prepare daily takings and usage reports.
Operations and Records
- Maintain consultation cards and records using Spa Soft and Book4Time systems.
- Maintain clean, safe, fully stocked, and organised spa reception areas.
- Open and close the spa according to standard operating procedures.
- Support preventative equipment maintenance and report issues involving staff or guests to management.
Role Expectations
- Be punctual, maintain a professional and positive attitude, and provide personalised service.
- Work independently without constant direct supervision while remaining at the assigned post as needed.
- Attend required training courses, seminars, and spa staff meetings.
- Use spa computers with skill and proficiency.
