Company Description
Mondrian Doha operates food, nightlife, event, celebration, and business venues across eight locations on the property.
Role Overview
The Cost Controller establishes, coordinates, and administers food and beverage control and accounting functions.
The role supports hotel outlets with food and beverage cost control issues and operates under the Finance Director or authorized management representative.
The position handles short- and long-term planning, daily operations, objectives, and approved procedural or operational changes.
Core Responsibilities
- Formulate accounting and reporting policies, coordinate systems and procedures, and prepare operating data and special reports.
- Report and interpret operational results for management and ownership to support profit maximization.
- Resolve problems and maintain food and beverage accounting systems and equipment.
- Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, taxes, and other financial reports.
- Investigate discrepancies and variances and coordinate corrective action to prevent recurring errors.
- Manage hiring, training, development, coaching, performance reviews, communication, discipline, and related human resources activities.
