• The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• The stated job type is 12 months and extendable.

Education and experience

• Minimum 12 years of experience in solution and technology architecture, including at least 5 years in the airline domain.
• Expertise in airline domains such as PSS, airline and airport operations, cargo, and engineering is mandatory.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, service-oriented architecture, microservices, and integration methodologies.
• Experience architecting mission-critical, high-transaction-volume environments.
• Experience across the full software development life cycle using traditional and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and experience managing C-level stakeholders.
• Experience aligning business and IT and delivering sustainable, reusable enterprise architecture through agile and waterfall methodologies.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is desirable.
• Solution or enterprise architecture certification is preferred, including examples such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect, or Open Certified Architect.
• Experience with SAFe Agile and other methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the design and development of technology solutions for airline domains and enterprise platforms.
• Work with business stakeholders and internal and external development teams to align solution designs with business requirements.
• Ensure solution designs conform to regulatory demands, architectural standards, budgets, and IT strategy.
• Act as a change agent for the organization’s Agile transformation journey.
• Introduce fit-for-purpose, affordable, and evolvable technologies.
• Recognize corporate strategy and translate business processes into enterprise architecture outcomes.
• Align business and IT through common approaches and sustainable, reusable enterprise architecture.
• Collaborate closely with other architects, business teams, and project teams.
