The role is AMI Field Supervisor for a major client in Abu Dhabi.

Job Purpose
Supervise and coordinate AMI field engineers and technicians involved in installing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting AMI systems.
Oversee LV electrical tasks, standards compliance, workflow optimization, resource management, and operational excellence across assigned projects and zones.
Required Experience
- Minimum seven years of experience in AMI or metering systems, including LV electrical work and team supervision.
- Proven expertise in installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining AMI meters and communication devices.
- Strong leadership, team management, and resource planning skills.
- Proficiency with engineering tools, diagnostic equipment, and relevant software.
Field Operations
- Lead daily AMI field-team activities and ensure timely, quality completion of installation, commissioning, and maintenance tasks.
- Oversee complex AMI and LV electrical troubleshooting and provide technical guidance.
- Plan resources, manage schedules, and monitor progress against project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and audits and ensure compliance with safety protocols and UAE regulations.
Systems and Reporting
- Review and validate engineering documentation, work orders, and system updates in FSM and ITSM, including Remedy.
- Liaise with customers, internal teams, and management to address escalations.
- Prepare operational reports, performance analyses, and process improvement recommendations.
- Report operational status, resource utilization, and performance metrics to management.
Team and Project Support
- Mentor field engineers and technicians and promote best practices and continuous learning.
- Support logistics, inventory management, procurement, and internal communication for AMI projects.
- Manage field-team performance and complex work orders across commercial and residential sites.
