Purpose of the role

Develop and support corporate websites and business applications on ASP.NET and Sitecore platforms.

Provide the bank with an efficient and cost-effective way to manage CMS and custom vendor applications.

Support application software and systems, including administration in non-production environments where applicable.

Job details

  • The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
  • The stated job type is six months and extendable.

Education and experience

  • A university degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
  • The role requires a minimum of 7–10 years of experience in Sitecore systems implementation and support.
  • Three to five years of solid experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, Razor syntax, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SAAS, jQuery, and Transact-SQL is required.
  • Hands-on agile development experience is required.

Technical qualifications

  • Strong hands-on Sitecore CMS development experience is required; Sitecore 10 or XM Cloud is preferred.
  • Sitecore XP 10+ Developer Certification is a plus.
  • Sitecore 10 to XM Cloud migration experience is advantageous.
  • Sitecore AI knowledge is preferred.
  • Sitecore SXA, Cortex, JSS, headless, and forms modules experience is preferred.
  • Glass Mapper and Castle Windsor experience is preferred.
  • Experience using Sitecore xDB for personalization is required.
  • Experience with Unicorn or TDS is a plus.
  • Azure deployment knowledge is a bonus.
  • Sitecore Search and SOLR Search knowledge and experience are required.
  • Working knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript libraries is required.
  • Sitecore JSS experience with React and Next.js is required.

Core responsibilities

  • Develop Sitecore solutions from business requirements and analysis.
  • Document solutions according to SDLC standards.
  • Create and install Sitecore packages, including publishing, workflow, custom fields, and media library items.
  • Use Web API to serve Sitecore data to other clients.
  • Manage new site builds within the existing technology infrastructure.
  • Implement Sitecore best practices.
