Role overview
Joveo is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for a full-stack role focused on building AI-powered recruitment products.
The role involves developing products from initial concepts to working prototypes and collaborating directly with company leadership.
Location and schedule
- The role is based in Bengaluru, India and requires working from the office five days per week.
- Working hours are from 2 pm to 11 pm.
Responsibilities
- Build greenfield AI products from whiteboard concepts through working prototypes.
- Develop frontend applications with React and Next.js.
- Develop backend services with Node.js and Express.
- Work with databases and integrate data storage into products.
- Integrate LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases into real products.
- Collaborate directly with company leadership from the first week.
Requirements
- Strong programming fundamentals and evidence of projects that the candidate has built.
- Working knowledge of TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
- Comfort with SQL, database design, REST APIs, and Git.
- Basic understanding of LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases.
- A builder's mindset and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
