- Contribute as a key member of the Scrum team, developing on Avigilon Unity Video Products
- Participate in defining and executing direction for build pipelines, containerization, DevOps tooling, and test automation
- Provide end to end software solutions encompassing design, architecture, implementation, maintenance, and user support
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with fellow developers and technical leadership
- Proactively provide technical guidance and mentorship
- Uphold rigorous standards for software development and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Extensive experience in C++
- Experience working in a large code base
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience working with databases (Berkeley, Postgres)
- Successful delivery of a large scale public facing application (preferred)
- Knowledge of CI/CD, test automation, and DevOps (preferred)
- Experience developing cloud applications in Azure (preferred)

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- Successful delivery of a large scale public facing application.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, test automation, and DevOps.
- Experience developing cloud applications in Azure.

Compensation
- Target Base Salary Range: CAD 90,000 120,000 CAD.
