About the Role
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Developer experienced in C++ and C# to provide technical leadership in developing video surveillance products. You will contribute to the Avigilon Unity Video Products, working on on-premise and cloud platforms, and mentor team members.

- Key contributor within the Scrum team, developing Avigilon Unity Video Products

- Participate in defining and executing direction for build pipelines, containerization, DevOps tooling, and test automation
- Provide end to end software solutions encompassing design, architecture, implementation, maintenance, and user support
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with fellow developers and technical leadership
- Proactively provide technical guidance and mentorship
- Uphold rigorous standards for software development and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Extensive experience in C++
- Experience working in a large code base
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience working with databases (Berkeley, Postgres)

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related.
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Extensive experience in C++.
- Experience working in a large code base.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working with databases (Berkeley, Postgres).
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful delivery of a large scale public facing application.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, test automation, and DevOps.
- Experience developing cloud applications in Azure.
- Experience developing applications in C++, C# and .NET.

Compensation
- Target Base Salary Range: $120,000 155,000 CAD.
