Role Overview
The role covers cybersecurity incident response, L2 SOC operations, security monitoring, forensic analysis, and malware analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Hold at least one relevant certification from the listed SANS GIAC, ISC2, CERT, or EC-Council options.
- L2 operations, forensic analysis, and malware analysis are mandatory.
- Candidates must be open to relocation.
Security Operations
- Triage, escalate, and respond to potential security events and incidents.
- Provide incident response expertise and support to security teams.
- Perform cybersecurity monitoring within L2 SOC operations.
Analysis and Assessment
- Perform malware analysis and reverse engineering.
- Analyze logs, network data, malware, forensic evidence, and cyber threat intelligence.
- Validate security threats, recommend countermeasures, and assess cyber incident impact.
Certification Options
- Listed certification options include GCIA, GCFA, GCFE, GREM, GXPN, GMON, GCIH, CCFP, CCSP, CISSP, CERT CSIH, CHFI, and ECSA.
