Site Engineer

General Description

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Translate approved drawings, method statements, and project requirements into site activities.
• Monitor works for safe execution and compliance with approved requirements.
• Track site progress, productivity, equipment utilization, delays, and operational issues.
• Support dewatering activities involving pumps, wells, pipelines, and associated equipment.
• Record groundwater levels, pumping performance, and project data.
• Coordinate with supervisors, HSE, Engineering, workshop, stores, and other teams.
• Assist with inspections, measurements, testing, and quality documentation.
• Maintain daily site, manpower, equipment, and progress records.
• Escalate technical, safety, and operational issues to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Record additional works, delays, client instructions, and relevant site conditions.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures, HSE requirements, and project controls.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Typically one to two years of relevant site or construction experience.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internships or practical site exposure may be considered.
• Relevant dewatering, groundwater control, civil, infrastructure, utilities, piling, or mechanical construction experience is advantageous.
• Basic ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Understanding of construction site safety and quality requirements.
• Organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work extensively on site and develop practical construction knowledge.
• Proactive attitude, ability to follow instructions, willingness to learn, and responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is advantageous.
• UAE driving licence is preferred.

Work Setting

• The role requires extensive work on construction sites.
