Project Manager (Sheet Piling)

General Description

Project Delivery

• Lead sheet piling and shoring projects from handover and mobilisation through execution, commercial close-out, and handover.
• Own the project programme, budget, revenue, margin, resources, production, and commercial performance.
• Coordinate sheet piling and shoring with excavation, dewatering, ground anchors, temporary works, surveys, testing, and related interfaces.

Technical and Performance Management

• Understand approved designs, drawings, methods, and sequencing and explain requirements to engineers, clients, and consultants.
• Monitor production rates, cycle times, downtime, material usage, and resource productivity and take corrective action.

Commercial and Client Management

• Manage instructions, variations, notices, certification, claims support, and commercial follow-up.
• Build client relationships and identify additional, cross-sell, and future project opportunities across the service offering.
• Support project planning, forecasting, change impact analysis, release of project outcomes, and commercial close-out.

Team and Compliance Leadership

• Direct Project Engineers, site teams, and internal functions with clear responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines.
• Lead, coach, and hold Project Engineers, supervisors, and site teams accountable for delivery.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, QHSE requirements, project controls, and delegated authorities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Typically 8–12+ years of construction or engineering experience, including substantial specialist sheet piling and shoring experience.
• At least 3 years of end-to-end Project Manager responsibility for delivery, commercial outcomes, and client management.
• Strong knowledge of sheet piling installation, shoring systems, temporary works, excavation, and groundwater interfaces.
• Proven experience with budgets, revenue, margins, forecasting, variations, certification, and contract administration.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project or site teams and coordinating internal support functions.

Preferred Experience

• Working knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or similar contracts is preferred.
• UAE or GCC project experience is advantageous.
