About the Role

Responsibilities
- Carry out calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a range of medical devices in line with technical documentation
- Record and update service activity, including work orders, repair history, and spare parts usage in service systems
- Follow quality standards, safety requirements, and internal guidelines at all times
- Provide technical guidance and training to customers and colleagues on equipment use and maintenance
- Support issue resolution by working closely with sales and technical support teams
- Diagnose faults using appropriate tools, software, and technical documentation
- Manage workload effectively to meet service timelines and customer expectations
- Represent the organisation in a professional and respectful manner during customer interactions
Requirements
- Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in a service engineering or field based technical role, ideally within medical devices, healthcare, or laboratory equipment
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electro mechanical systems
- Confidence in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to different audiences
- Comfortable working independently with good organisation and time management skills
- Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel as required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools; experience with service systems such as SAP or ServiceMax is beneficial

Salary Range
- £33,000 £35,000 + benefits
