Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Drive service sales in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager to generate opportunities and deliver profitable growth.
  • Focus on installed base penetration and promote the full Service product portfolio in partnership with ABB service units.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that maximize share of wallet, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build lasting customer relationships by leading sales activities, monitoring project progress, and resolving customer needs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify account needs and position Digital & Advisory Portfolio solutions.
  • Regularly update installed base in Service database.
  • Generate opportunities leads to meet assigned sales targets.
  • Utilize IB database to develop sales opportunities for Service products and solutions.
  • Focus on the entire Service portfolio to secure profit.
  • Own and implement electrification service sales strategies.
  • Position advanced services, replacements, retrofits, upgrades, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and safety requirements.
  • Establish long term relationships and promote Life Cycle Management.
  • Register customer feedback and ensure satisfaction.
  • Plan weekly sales visits and report on CRM.
  • Ensure 95% accurate forecasting of orders.

Qualifications for the role

  • Electrical Engineering Background.
  • 10+ years of experience in service sales.
  • Proven track record as a service sales engineer for switchgears and protection relays.
  • Background in digital solutions is a plus.
  • Previous engagement with major government end users and industrial customers in the region.
  • Strong technical expertise in selling service agreements is a plus.
  • Strong English communication & Negotiation skills are a must.
  • Innovative mind and interest to explore new ideas.
  • Out of the box thinking and exceptional problem solving skills.
  • Relentless ownership, dedication, and thoroughness.
  • Collaborative, solutions oriented approach with proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
