About the Role
ABB is seeking a Service Account Manager for Electrification Services in the MEA region, based onsite in Abu Dhabi. The role involves driving service sales, penetrating the installed base, and promoting the full service portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Identify account needs and position Digital & Advisory Portfolio solutions that add value to customer assets
- Regularly update installed base in Service database with changes made at site
- Generate opportunities leads to meet assigned sales targets
- Utilize IB database to identify and develop sales opportunities for Service products and solutions
- Focus on the entire Service portfolio to secure profit for assigned Business/Product Groups
- Own and implement electrification service sales strategies to ensure sustainable growth in orders and profitability
- Account and segment focus approach to position advanced services, replacements, retrofits, upgrades, etc.
- Ensure all activities meet legal and ethical compliance requirements and prioritize employee safety
- Establish long term relationships by understanding customer requirements and promoting Life Cycle Management
- Register customer feedback and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
- Plan and perform the right number of weekly sales visits, reporting them on CRM
- Ensure 95% accurate forecasting of orders
Requirements
- Electrical Engineering Background
- 10+ years of experience in service sales
- Proven track record as a service sales engineer for switchgears and protection relays
- Background in digital solutions is a plus
- Previous engagement and customer relationships with major government end users entities and industrial customers in the region
- Strong technical expertise in selling service agreements is a plus
- Strong English communication & Negotiation skills are a must
- Innovative mind and interest to explore new ideas and build strong relationships
- Out of the box thinking and exceptional problem solving skills

Your Role And Responsibilities
- Drive service sales in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager to generate opportunities and deliver profitable growth.
- Focus on installed base penetration and promote the full Service product portfolio in partnership with ABB service units.
- Develop and execute account strategies that maximize share of wallet, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Build lasting customer relationships by leading sales activities, monitoring project progress, and resolving customer needs.
