Requirements
- Associate degree in related field
- 3 4 years of experience in hotels/restaurants/customer service
- Proficient with computers and basic programs (Microsoft Office, email)
- Pleasing personality: positive, energetic, motivated, optimistic
- Ability to prioritise work
- Excellent face to face and telephone communication skills
- Ability to handle significant stress and pressure
- Flexible and willing to work long hours
- Physically fit and able to stand and walk during full shift

Role Overview
- To provide a professional service to all guests, facilitating orders for food and beverages through dine in, take away and delivery.
- Ensure all orders are received and placed accurately.
- Ensure service area, dine in area and common areas are always clean and ready for customer use.
- Assist in general day to day operations of the business as required.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities
- Be familiar with general industry standards of service of both food and beverages.
- Provide a professional level of service of food and beverage items to guests for dine in, take away and delivery.
- Have a detailed knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and promotions.
- Cross train for all F&B service positions including table service and call centre.
- Always have a kind, pleasant and helpful attitude.
- Train in the use of the POS for delivery and dine in orders.
- Ensure dining area, service area, toilets and all common areas are clean and clear.
- Carry plates, glasses and cutlery in a professional, safe way.
- Keep service stations tidy and clean at all times.
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with SOPs and policies.
- Create and maintain a sound working relationship with all colleagues.
- Report to Supervisor or Branch Manager prior to leaving station.
Receipt and Processing of Orders
- Ensure all orders are received and processed accurately.
- Follow SOPs relating to Service and Telephone Orders.
- Repeat the order to customers and confirm each menu item and modifier choice.
- Ensure all payments are received and processed accurately.
- Be familiar with menu items, ingredients, allergy information, and promotions.
- Provide assistance and guidance to customers on all menu items.
- Promote additional menu items and aim to increase sales through upselling.
- Be informative, friendly, communicative and professional with guests.
- Update Dispatcher, drivers and call center with accurate customer address information.
- Ensure correct handling of all menu items ready for dine in or take away.
- Ensure all service stations are clear and clean at all times.
- Immediately bring any issue, accident, complaint or equipment failure to manager's attention.
Payment and Handling Cash
- Process payment of all orders by cash or credit payment.
- Close the POS at the end of the shift and count collected cash and credit payments.
- Prepare sales summary at the end of the day with all required details.
- Cross check cash and credit payment in summary and compare to POS readout.
- Prepare remittance of funds and deposit in drop box safe.
- Secure and arrange cash float for money exchange.
- Prepare records of petty cash payments with supporting documents.
- Immediately inform Branch Manager of any suspicious circumstances or irregularities.
- Ensure change and floats are correct.
- Ensure drivers have sufficient change funds while on delivery duty.
Pre requisites
- Associate degree in related field.
- 3 4 years of experience in hotels/restaurants/customer service preferred.
- Proficient with computers and basic programs (Microsoft Office, email).
- Pleasing Personality: Positive, Energetic, Motivated & Optimistic.
- Ability to prioritise work.
- Excellent face to face and telephone communication skills.
- Ability to handle significant stress and pressure.
- Flexible and willing to work long hours.
