Job Purpose
HanmiGlobal is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer for its program management and PMCM team in Saudi Arabia.
The role provides program-level telecommunications and ICT engineering expertise and technical governance for a major land and infrastructure development program in Riyadh.
The position supports review and monitoring of telecommunications, ICT, and smart infrastructure designs under the direction of the Technical Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Review telecommunications engineering reports, ICT strategies, network studies, and design drawings prepared by lead developers.
- Assess fiber optic backbone networks, telecommunications duct banks, and network architectures for functionality, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Evaluate smart city infrastructure proposals, intelligent systems integration, and digital infrastructure initiatives.
- Support program-level technical governance and engineering assurance processes across package submissions.
- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve interface conflicts and integrate multidisciplinary infrastructure designs.
- Evaluate technical, operational, and lifecycle impacts of design changes and telecommunications-related value engineering proposals.
Reporting Line
The role reports to the Technical Manager and supports delivery on behalf of a major government entity.
Requirements
- Senior-level telecommunications and ICT engineering expertise is required.
- Ability to review telecommunications engineering reports, ICT strategies, network studies, and design drawings for compliance with approved criteria and client requirements.
- Experience assessing fiber optic backbone networks, telecommunications duct banks, and network architectures.
- Ability to evaluate smart city infrastructure proposals and intelligent systems integration.
- Ability to coordinate technical interfaces and integrate multidisciplinary infrastructure designs.
- Ability to assess technical, operational, and lifecycle impacts of telecommunications-related design changes and value engineering proposals.
