About the Role
Ground Up Construction seeks a highly experienced Senior Technical Manager to lead technical and engineering functions for major high-rise and large-scale construction projects in Dubai.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company's technical and engineering department
- Oversee design coordination between consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of shop drawings, technical documents, and material approvals
- Monitor technical compliance with project specifications, authorities, and contractual requirements
- Support project teams in resolving technical issues and construction challenges
- Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and construction efficiency
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, QA/QC, commercial, and project management departments
- Follow up on authorities' approvals and ensure timely technical clearances
- Develop and improve technical procedures, standards, and workflows within the organization
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in technical management within leading contracting companies in the UAE/Dubai
- Strong background in high rise towers, residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed use developments
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Dubai authorities' requirements, engineering standards, and construction regulations
- Extensive experience in design coordination, shop drawings, material approvals, and technical compliance
- Proven ability in value engineering, problem solving, and technical risk management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and fast track construction programs simultaneously
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM processes, engineering software, and project management systems
