• A leading contracting company in Dubai is seeking to appoint a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior MEP Manager to lead and oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) operations across major high-rise and large-scale construction projects.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong technical and managerial expertise in MEP systems, project execution, authorities’ coordination, subcontractor management, testing & commissioning, and successful project delivery within the UAE construction industry.
• 🔹 Key Requirements:
• ⁠ ⁠15+ years of experience in MEP management within leading contracting companies in the UAE/Dubai
• ⁠ ⁠Strong experience in high-rise towers, residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments
• ⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• ⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of Dubai authorities’ requirements, DEWA, DCD, DM, and other relevant regulations and standards
• ⁠ ⁠Extensive experience in MEP design review, coordination, execution, testing & commissioning, and handover processes
• ⁠ ⁠Strong background in managing MEP subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, and project coordination
• ⁠ ⁠Proven expertise in value engineering, technical problem-solving, and construction management
• ⁠ ⁠Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
• ⁠ ⁠Ability to manage multiple fast-track projects simultaneously
• ⁠ ⁠Proficiency in engineering software, AutoCAD, BIM coordination, and project management systems
• 🔹 Main Responsibilities:
• ⁠ ⁠Lead and manage all MEP operations and engineering activities across company projects
• ⁠ ⁠Review and monitor MEP design coordination, shop drawings, technical submissions, and material approvals
• ⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with project specifications, authorities’ regulations, and quality standards
• ⁠ ⁠Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution
• ⁠ ⁠Monitor MEP progress, procurement schedules, testing & commissioning activities, and project handover requirements
• ⁠ ⁠Support project teams in resolving technical and site-related MEP challenges
• ⁠ ⁠Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and operational efficiency
• ⁠ ⁠Coordinate with planning, procurement, QA/QC, technical, and commercial departments
• ⁠ ⁠Ensure timely approvals and successful inspections with all relevant authorities
• ⁠ ⁠Develop and improve MEP procedures, standards, and operational workflows within the organization
